A case of a woman pouring acid on her sister-in-law has come to light on Monday evening over the distribution of land in Sarai Sultani area under Sasni Gate police station area of Aligarh city. The family members immediately took the seriously injured woman to the district hospital, where she is undergoing treatment. The police, which reached the spot after receiving the information, is busy investigating the matter.
Younger brother’s wife was asking for a share in the house
The injured woman’s husband Imran told that he is a resident of Sarai Sultani area. The injured woman, Amreen, is his wife. Gulfsha, wife of younger brother Furkan, poured acid. It is being told that a house is built on 40 square meters, there was a fight between the sister-in-law and the sister-in-law regarding its division. Imran told that it has been 6 years since his marriage. Also have two children. Police have been informed about the incident and the wife is undergoing treatment at Malkhan Singh District Hospital.
Acid poured on sister-in-law in partition dispute
Ahmed Hussain, the father-in-law of the injured woman, told that Gulfsha, the wife of his younger son Furkan, had poured acid and there was a fight between the two regarding the division of the house. The younger son is asking for a share in the house and I still have two daughters to marry. Ahmed Hussain said that he will give a share in the house to whoever invests money in his daughters’ marriage. Sasni Gate police station in-charge said that no complaint has been received from the victim in this matter yet. Upon receiving the complaint, legal action will be taken after investigation. The victim woman is undergoing treatment at District Malkhan Singh Hospital.
