Aligarh: Robber with bounty of Rs 25,000, absconding for 14 years arrested, was living in Delhi hiding his identity

The police team of Lodha police station has arrested the robber carrying a reward of Rs 25,000 who was absconding for 14 years in Aligarh. The accused had committed the robbery incident in Khair police station area 14 years ago. Nanhe Khan was living in Delhi hiding his identity. The SSP has declared the police team of Lodha police station worthy of a reward for this unprecedented action.

Robbery incident was carried out in 2009

In the year 2009, accused Nanhe Khan had committed the robbery of a resident of Agra near the kiln in front of Shivala village in Khair police station area. In relation to which, a case under Khair police station, crime number – 381/09, section 392 of the Indian Penal Code was registered and on the basis of evidence, 2 co-accused were sent to jail on 18.06.20210. Accused Nanhe Khan was absconding since then. Accused Nanhe Khan was also involved in a police encounter in Lodha police station area in the year 2010. In relation to which, a case was registered at Lodha police station, crime number – 52/10 under section 307 and Nanhe Khan was continuously absconding.

Nanhe Khan was living in Delhi hiding his identity

In this case, Senior Superintendent of Police Kalanidhi Naithani formed teams and issued strict instructions to arrest the absconding accused. In the sequence of which, by providing leadership to the teams formed by the Superintendent of Police, City Mrigank Shekhar Pathak, on the basis of rigorous investigation and many days of tireless hard work, the accused who had been absconding for 14 years was arrested. Accused Nanhe Khan left his house and was living in Gurjar Chowk Mukandpur (Delhi) hiding his identity and used to work as a palladari in Azadpur Mandi. Who was not maintaining any contact with his family members. Now he had come secretly to meet his family. On the information of informer, he was arrested near Lekhrajpur Bahlolpur bridge of Lodha police station area.

There is a reward of Rs 25 thousand on Nanhe Khan

Police station Gabhana area officer Suman Kanojia said that a campaign is being conducted to arrest Inamiya and the wanted accused. Under this campaign, Nanhe Khan, who was wanted by Lodha police station in the robbery incident in Thana Khair area, was absconding for 14 years and there was a reward of Rs 25 thousand on Nanhe Khan. Nanhe Khan has been arrested. During the search of the accused, a pistol was recovered from him. A separate case has been registered in this regard and legal action is being taken.
