Which was demolished by Aligarh Development Authority on Friday. As per the instructions of Atul Vats, Vice Chairman of Aligarh Development Authority, three illegally developed colonies were demolished on Friday. In case no. 0-221/27 (2023-24), demolition order was passed against the development work of illegal colony of developers Surjit and Giani Sthal Gouda Road, Lohagarh Khair in the area of ​​about four bighas of raw road and foundation of land plots. In case no. 0-205/27 (2022-23), demolition order was passed against the illegal development work of the paved road and electric pole built by the developer Ramdev in the area of ​​05 bigha of the site, Lohagarh Khair. In case no. 0-223/27(2022-23), in the presence of police station Khair police force and magistrate, in the order of demolition passed against the illegal development work of the CC road built in the area of ​​approximately 04 Bigha of developer Vinod Kumar Verma site, Lohagarh Khair. 03 Action has been taken to demolish the kutcha road, foundation of land plots, pucca road, electric poles and CC road etc. of the illegal colony. These colonies were being built without maps and without the approval of the development authority.

Aligarh Development Authority Vice President Atul Vats said that legal action will continue against illegal construction and development work. In this sequence, builders and developers are directed to develop the colony after getting the draft map duly approved on the land under Aligarh Development Authority. Along with this, the general public is also informed not to buy or sell plots in any illegal colony.

Was wasting ADA’s revenue

In Aligarh, builders and property dealers are cutting colonies without maps and layouts, however, engineers of Aligarh Development Authority were also accused of collusion. Now action is being taken against those who embezzle the revenue of the department. With the construction of Jewar Airport, the prices of land in Aligarh are increasing rapidly and due to its proximity to Delhi, NCR and Jewar Airport, people are buying land in a hurry. Due to which the business of illegal colonies is also increasing. To get the colony pass, one has to pay fee to ADA.

Campaign against illegal colonies will continue

In the illegal colony business, private companies from Noida and NCR are also coming here and cutting the colony, although it is mandatory to take NOC from the tehsil to pass the layout of the colony from Aligarh Development Authority. But work is being done against the rules. Aligarh Development Authority Vice Chairman Atul Vats said that the Development Authority is very strict regarding illegal colonies and action is being taken by running a campaign against illegal colonies.
