Aligarh: MSP – Farmers will hold a grand protest in Lucknow from November 26 for free electricity, will hold a three-day protest.

Aligarh: United Kisan Morcha is going to hold a three-day grand march in front of Raj Bhavan regarding its demands. In fact, this day and night demonstration of farmer laborers will be held in front of the Raj Bhavan of the state capital. United Kisan Morcha will reach Eco Garden in Lucknow on 26th November. From where they will start their movement. Their main demands are legal guarantee of MSP, complete loan waiver and free electricity for irrigation. Farmers from Aligarh district will also leave for Lucknow by train on Friday under the leadership of leader Shashikant. In Aligarh, the issue of forcibly grabbing the land of farmers in the name of making Greater Aligarh will also arise.

Mahapadan campaign of farmers on 26th November

On the national call of the United Kisan Morcha, there will be a Kisan Mahapadav in all the capitals of the country from November 26. Thousands of farmers and laborers from across the state will gather at the Eco Garden in Lucknow also. The meeting of the State Committee of the Revolutionary Kisan Union for participation in the Kisan Mahapadav was concluded in Lucknow. It was told in the meeting that due to the Mahapadav, farmers will once again march towards the capitals to protest for all the other demands like legal guarantee of MSP, complete loan waiver, farmer pension etc. Also, farmers will loudly remind the farmers of the Yogi government’s promise of providing free electricity for irrigation.

The issue of forcibly grabbing land in the name of Greater Aligarh will arise.

Apart from this, during the Mahapadav, the union made efforts to cancel the expansion of Manduri Airport in Azamgarh, stop the erosion of Ghaghra River in Ballia and give compensation to the affected villages, give permanent job by Tata-Telco in Chinhat, Lucknow and give the remaining compensation. The demands of district level movements like action against forcible land grabbing in the name of Greater Aligarh and forcible recovery of bills by the electricity department will be strongly placed before the Raj Bhavan.
