Aligarh: Husband reached the police station after killing his wife by calling the child in the womb as illegitimate.

Aligarh: A sensational case of murder of wife has come to light in Tappal Kasba police station in Aligarh. The husband was angry with his pregnant wife for talking on her mobile. The child in the womb was said to be someone else’s. Due to this suspicion, the husband strangled his wife to death. After the murder, the accused husband reached Tappal police station and told the police the incident of his wife’s murder. After hearing the story of the accused husband, Tappal police station immediately reached the spot and took possession of the dead body and sent it for post-mortem. Other members of the in-laws fled from the spot. The deceased was seven months pregnant. At the same time, the police is interrogating the maternal side of the deceased.

The marriage took place seven months ago

Sadiq was married to Gulfsha seven months ago in Tappal town. Everything was fine for some time till the marriage. But after a few days Gulfsha started being tortured. It is being told that Gulfsha used to talk to a young man on mobile. Husband Sadiq had stopped Gulfsha from talking on mobile. But Gulfsha could not stop herself from talking to the young man on mobile. Meanwhile, the news of Gulfsha’s pregnancy came to light. The husband started doubting Gulfsha. Husband Sadiq felt that Gulfsha was not carrying his child. On Thursday, Gulfsha had gone to the second floor to give a blanket to her husband. During this time, the husband lost his temper and strangulated Gulfsha and stopped her breathing. The room was locked from inside. When the family members reached the room from the other side, Gulfata was lying dead on the bed.

Husband reaches police station after killing wife

After strangulating the pregnant wife to death, the accused husband Sadiq himself reached the police station and after narrating the entire story to the Tappal police station, the police were shocked. The police rushed towards the spot of incident. When I went to the house in the Jain temple street of Tappal town, I saw Gulfsha’s dead body lying on the bed in the upstairs room. The information spread like wildfire in the area. A huge crowd gathered there. The family members of accused husband Sadiq also fled from the spot. The police is busy searching for them. The police has informed the family of the deceased.

A few days ago the elders had explained to the husband

Meanwhile, the deceased’s sister Munisha told that Gulfsha was married in the month of April. After marriage, accused Sadiq used to harass my sister on daily basis. A few days ago also, the elders had intervened and explained the matter to her husband Sadiq and resolved the matter. After this, when an opportunity arose on Thursday, my sister was called to the upstairs room and strangulated to death. In this case, Tappal police station in-charge Pankaj Mishra said that the accused husband is arrested. Legal action is underway regarding the incident.
