Aligarh: In Aligarh, a father who was facing hurdles in selling land was murdered by his son by slitting his throat. The maternal uncle of the accused was also involved in this incident. However, the police have arrested three accused. The incident took place in Baharpur area of Chandaus police station.
Prempal has three sons and a daughter. Daughter has got married. The elder son Praveen was also married. In Baharpur itself, about 70 yards of land belonged to Prempal’s father, which was worth Rs 1.5 lakh. The elder son Praveen wanted to sell the land, but father Prempal refused to sell the land.
Dead body found in village field
When his father created hurdles in selling the land, son Praveen decided to get his father out of the way. Father Prempal was murdered by slitting his throat as part of planning on Friday night. The body of father Prempal was found lying in the field of Ramesh Chand Sharma of the same village. It was from the local people that the family got information about their father’s dead body. Son Praveen had also involved maternal uncle Mahesh in killing his father.
The younger son of the deceased filed a complaint against the elder brother.
Regarding the incident, the deceased’s younger son Pradeep told that his own brother Praveen along with his maternal uncle killed his father by slitting his throat and the father had refused to sell the plant. After this the controversy increased. The police reached the spot and sent the body for post-mortem. Younger son Pradeep has filed a complaint in the police station to register a case against elder brother Praveen.
Police have arrested three people regarding the incident. In which Praveen, Mahesh along with another person are involved. Son Praveen and maternal uncle have confessed to the crime regarding the incident. Chandaus police station in-charge Sitaram told that there was a dispute regarding property. In which the father was murdered by his own son by slitting his throat. Meanwhile, the accused is arrested. Legal investigation of the incident is underway.
