Aligarh: A case of rape of an elderly woman by a young man has come to light. The incident took place in Kaudiyaganj area of Akrabad police station in Aligarh district of Uttar Pradesh. It is being told that the 65-year-old woman was going to the farm to deliver food to her husband. The youth is absconding since the incident. A 65-year-old elderly woman from Kaudiyaganj was going to Patwari’s garden with tiffin for her husband who was guarding the farm. It is being told that Jitendra caught the woman on the way with bad intentions. He beat him and took him to the field. Raped her there. The victim woman reached Akarabad police station and informed the police about her ordeal.
Police registered a case and took action
Akrabad police station in-charge Awadhesh Kumar said that the police station has received a written complaint on behalf of the elderly woman. The same case has been registered. He said that on the basis of the woman’s application, a case has been registered under sections 323, 504, 506, 354 B. The woman has been sent to the district hospital for medical examination. If rape is confirmed, further sections will be increased. Meanwhile, a police team has been deployed to arrest the accused youth.
