Alert in Mathura on the anniversary of Babri demolition, Hindu leader detained before donating lamps at Shri Krishna birthplace.

Mathura News: Special vigilance is being taken in Mathura on the anniversary of the demolition of the disputed structure in Ayodhya. Police teams have been deployed near Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi and Shahi Idgah Mosque. On December 6, some Hindu leaders have announced to perform lamp donation and Jalabhishek at the sanctum sanctorum of Shri Krishna’s birth place and the main place of Shahi Idgah Mosque. The district and police administration are already alert and monitoring regarding this. Dinesh Sharma was taken into custody before donating the lamp. The officials have held a meeting and prepared a blueprint for security arrangements and since Wednesday morning, police arrangements have been tightened near Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi and Shahi Idgah Mosque. The atmosphere of the city should not deteriorate in Mathura. Intelligence agency has been activated for this. Apart from hotels, guest houses, IB and LIU are keeping an eye on every visitor at Mathura railway station and bus stand. On the other hand, traffic has been closed on all the roads leading to Shahi Idgah, the birthplace of Shri Krishna. Hindu organizations have announced the donation of lamps and Jalabhishek at the original sanctum sanctorum, which they say is inside the Shahi Idgah. In view of this, the police administration has made strict security arrangements. More than 1450 police personnel have been deployed around Shri Krishna’s birthplace Shahi Eidgah, which includes 1350 police personnel and 168 police officers.
