Akshaya Navami 2023: The ninth date of Shukla Paksha of Kartik month is known as Akshaya Navami or Amla Navami or Kushmanda Navami. This time Amla Navami or Akshay Navami is on 21st November i.e. Tuesday in Shat Taraka Nakshatra. This Navami is considered Akshay. Worship of Amla tree on this Navami has special significance. Akshay means that which never decays. It is believed that Satya Yuga started on the day of Akshaya Navami. Therefore the day of Akshaya Navami is also known as Satya Yugadi. This date is considered very important for all types of charitable works. From the ninth date of Shukla Paksha of Kartik month till the full moon day, Lord Vishnu resides on the Amla tree. This is the reason why Amla tree is worshiped on Akshaya Navami. In such a situation, on this day, mix raw milk in water and offer it to the root of the Amla tree. Along with this, offer flowers, garland, vermillion, Akshat etc. on the tree. Wrap raw cotton or molly around the trunk of the tree eight times. Do listen to the Vrat Katha after the puja. On this day, it is considered very auspicious to eat satvik food with the whole family while sitting under the tree.
According to Radhav Nath Jha, the ninth date of Shukla Paksha of Kartik Navami is starting on 21st November at 03:16 am. Also, it will end on November 22 at 1:09 pm. In such a situation, Akshaya Navami will be celebrated on Tuesday, 21st November. The auspicious time of puja will be from 06:48 AM to 12:07 AM.
According to the Panchang, the Navami Tithi of Shukla Paksha of Kartik month will start on 21st November at 03:16 AM and will end on the next day i.e. 22nd November at 01:09 AM.
Harshal Yoga is being formed on Akshaya Navami, this Yoga has been formed from 05.41 pm onwards. On Akshaya Navami, worship is done in the evening only. Therefore, Lakshmi Narayan ji is worshiped in Harshal Yoga. According to astrologers, by worshiping Lord Vishnu in Harshal Yoga, the seeker gets eternal results.
