Siwan district’s air quality worsens, people are continuously getting affected

Here, Siwan is beating Patna in terms of air pollution. The air pollution level of the district is more dangerous than Patna. The increasing moisture and dust particles in the atmosphere are making the air very dense. Due to which the amount of pollution is increasing significantly. This type of situation is expected to persist throughout the season. Only after the weather improves, the people of the district can get relief from pollution. On Tuesday, the air quality of the district was recorded at 302, while an AQI of more than 250 is said to be harmful for health. The air quality in the capital Patna is around 300.

There are no big factories in the city.

There are no big factories here. Still the air quality index here is so high. Experts believe that during winter the boundary layer of the atmosphere comes down due to cold. During summer it remains at a height of up to one and a half to two kilometers. In winter it falls below one kilometer. At the same time the wind speed also decreases. Due to this, the pollution coming from local sources gets trapped in it. Due to this the air is getting polluted. The increasing poisonous air can be fatal for human life.

Pollution increasing in the earth due to cutting of trees

Environmental expert Brajkishore Yadav believes that due to rapid cutting of trees and lack of planting of new plants, the amount of pollution in the earth is continuously increasing. Serious diseases are also spreading rapidly due to this poison dissolved in the air. Nine out of every ten people are breathing polluted air. This is the reason why deaths are occurring due to respiratory diseases. People are increasingly suffering from diseases like TB and asthma. To reduce the effects of air pollution, every person needs to plant more and more trees.

There is a risk of these diseases

Apart from asthma, throat pain, allergies, pneumonia, high blood pressure, heart attack, diabetes, irritability, hair fall and premature graying of hair have become common due to polluted air. Contaminated air is also increasing diseases like cancer. To reduce its impact, it has become necessary to stop cutting of trees and stop migration in urban areas. Experts say that living in a polluted environment causes the most damage to the heart and lungs. In such a situation, it is important to avoid polluted air. People should go out only wearing masks.

Conditions are worsening in the morning and evening

The air in the district is reaching very dangerous levels in the morning and evening. The problem of pollution is arising due to the geographical structure of the district. Here the humidity in the atmosphere is increasing significantly in the morning and evening. The density of air is increasing significantly due to dust particles mixing with moisture. Due to this the air quality index is reaching dangerous levels. At the same time, due to lack of complete traffic system in urban areas, the situation of urban jam in the district persists. Road jam is also deteriorating the air quality.

Increasing air pollution is harmful for health

The situation of air pollution in the district is definitely not good for health. People are afraid of getting lung disease due to air pollution. There is a chance of getting asthma. There is a fear of contracting various respiratory diseases due to polluted air. The residents of the district are very active regarding this. He says that the government should take strictest steps to stop air pollution.

The root cause of the problem of dust flying from the roads

Experts say that the layer of dust lying on rural roads including the city is the main cause of pollution. If the layer of dust is removed from the roads and sand transportation is done properly, then pollution can be controlled to some extent. Apart from this, it is mandatory to follow the rules even during the construction of buildings. Some brick kilns are still being operated traditionally. There is a need to control this also. The evil practice of burning stubble and biomass in the fields is creating new problems. Due to which the air quality has reached serious category. The administration is making people aware not to burn stubble. There is a strict order of the Agriculture Department that the registration of those farmers who are caught burning stubble will be cancelled.
