According to meteorologists, the air quality in the districts falling in the NCR region of Uttar Pradesh has reached very poor condition. The air quality remained poor in many districts including Noida, Ghaziabad, Meerut on Sunday morning. This situation is when due to Sunday being a holiday, there is less traffic pressure on the roads as compared to normal days. With the beginning of Monday, vehicular pollution increases significantly. According to the National Air Quality Index, AQI was recorded at 252 in Noida. This clearly shows that the air quality here was in poor category. The situation has been even worse in Loni of Ghaziabad district. The air quality index here was 315 and the air quality was in very poor category.
