Air Pollution: Administration warns after increase in pollution in Agra-Mathura, water tankers-anti smog guns will be used

Agra News: The climate of many cities is deteriorating due to pollution. After the national capital Delhi and NCR, now the effect of pollution is increasing in many cities of UP. Now air pollution has started showing its effects in Agra, Mathura and Mainpuri also. The condition of air quality index in Agra and Mathura was once again bad on Tuesday morning. The air quality index in Mathura is at 162 which is said to be in very poor condition. The haze spread in the air shows increasing air pollution. The level of air pollution is worst in Lohavan and Mahavan of Mathura. Lohavan has a quality index of 161 and Mahavan has a quality index of 163. In view of the ever increasing pollution, while the Supreme Court has expressed its displeasure, the administration has also come into action. Divisional Commissioner of Agra has asked the Development Authority Vice Chairman, Municipal Commissioner, Chief Engineer, PWD, Municipality and Nagar Panchayat in all the districts of Agra division including Mathura to work seriously in this matter.
