Agreement signed between Coal India and National Skill Development Corporation

An MoU has been signed with National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) for setting up Multi-Skill Skill Development Institutes (MSDIs) in the command areas of Coal India’s subsidiaries. An MSDI will be established in every subsidiary company of Coal India. In the first phase, it will be established in BCCL, CCL, MCL, NCL and SECL and in the second phase in the remaining subsidiaries. The MoU was signed in the presence of Rupinder Brar, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Coal. On the occasion, Coal India Director Personnel Vinay Ranjan, EDCIL (India) Limited CMD Manoj Kumar, apart from BCCL DP Murali Krishna Ramaiah, along with DPs of all subsidiary companies, Coal Ministry and senior officials of other coal companies were present.

And review of CSR expenditure for the year 2023-24

Here, the review meeting of CSR expenditure for the financial year 2023-24 was held in Delhi under the chairmanship of Additional Secretary of the Coal Ministry, Rupinder Brar. In which detailed discussions were held on socio-economic impact, CSR strategies and increasing social visibility. Also highlighted were a series of initiatives taken by PSUs for the welfare of the society in the financial year 2024-25. Coal India DP Vinay Ranjan, BCCL DP Murali Krishna Ramaiah, ICL DP Aahuti Swain and DPs and concerned officers of all coal companies were present in the meeting.
