Agra News: The air of Taj city Agra in Uttar Pradesh is still not clean. It is still difficult for people to breathe in the Taj city. In Agra, the worst air quality index was recorded in Sector 38 B Awas Vikas Colony 147. Apart from this, the amount of carbon monoxide in the air has increased in Agra. The highest quantity was recorded in Sanjay Place of Agra, more than 40 times. But, there is no ban on burning of garbage and smoke coming from factories in Agra. Whereas strict instructions have been issued by the Divisional Commissioner to prevent air pollution.

The air of Agra is not improving since Diwali. Sometimes more and sometimes less, the poison of pollution is dissolved in the air. In such a situation, burning of garbage at various places in Agra is also being said to be a major reason for this. Besides, carelessness in big construction works is also causing air pollution.

According to the report released by the Central Pollution Control Board on the basis of data collected at automatic monitoring stations on Sunday, the AQI was found satisfactory in Manoharpur, Dayalbagh, Rohta and Shahjahan Garden in the city. Apart from this, Sanjay Place, Sector 38B Awas Vikas Colony and Shastripuram remained in slightly polluted condition. The air in Sanjay Place was the worst in the city. On Monday, 147 cases were recorded in Sector 38 Awas Vikas Colony, Agra.

CPCB Director Kamal Kumar said that due to incomplete burning of fuel, the amount of carbon monoxide dissolved in the air may increase. This situation also arises due to traffic jam in the city. According to the data released in Agra, at 9:00 am, 127 air quality indices were recorded in Agra Development Sector 38, Awas Vikas Colony 147, Rohta 142, Sanjay Place 132, Manoharpur.
