Agra: Pharmacists observed a 2-hour strike for their demands at all Community Health Centers including District Hospital, Lady Loyal and SN Medical College. During this, the patients who came to take medicines had to face a lot of trouble. Had to stand in line for hours. In such a situation, temporary people were appointed in place of pharmacists, but still the patients suffered a lot.

Diploma Pharmacists Association announced

Diploma Pharmacists Association has announced work boycott for two hours from 8 am to 10 am from today till June 17. During this the pharmacist did not dispense the medicines. This boycott remained at Agra’s SN Medical College, District Hospital, Lady Loyal and all Community Health Centers.

On June 8, the Pharmacists Association boycotted the work and protested at the CMO office regarding their demands. After this, he had announced that he would work wearing a black band from 12 to 14 June and would boycott for 2 hours from 15 to 17 June. Despite this, if their demands are not accepted, then an indefinite strike will start from June 19.

Due to the 2-hour boycott of work by the pharmacists, women had to face a lot of trouble among the patients who reached the district hospital to take medicines. For many hours women remained in line. During this, many times women were also pushed. Women struggling for medicine in the scorching heat also accused the hospital administration of not conducting adequate exams.

Meena Devi, who came to the district hospital to collect medicine from the lame post, told that she has been standing in line for two hours but is unable to get the medicine. There is pain in the legs, I cannot stand, sometimes I sit and sometimes I stand. It is getting worse than the heat. Sarita, who came to take medicines from Rohta, told that it has been more than two-three hours. Medicine is not available. They are standing in line and are facing a lot of trouble. It is not known whether the medicine is available or not.
