Dozens of speedy vehicles are plying on the Agra Noida Expressway every day. Due to which on one hand these vehicles are defrauding the transport department’s revenue worth lakhs of rupees. On the other hand, the life of the passengers traveling in these vehicles is also at risk. Many times major accidents have occurred due to these vehicles. But the transport department is proving unsuccessful in banning such errant vehicles.
Transport department is suffering loss in revenue.
Hundreds of buses are being operated by the Transport Department for the passengers. But the errant vehicles which cause loss to the revenue of the transport department are not being controlled. Dangerous vehicles are operating from the highway outside Agra bus stand. Along with running on the local highway, they are also speeding on the Agra Yamuna Expressway. Hundreds of passengers are traveling by these vehicles every day. But the transport department is proving unsuccessful in stopping and controlling them.

Talking about Agra Noida Expressway, every day you will see dozens of rickshaw vehicles ferrying passengers near the expressway before Kuberpur intersection. Vehicles operating on Yamuna Expressway charge around Rs 300 to Rs 350 fare from passengers to go from Agra to Noida. Due to which the transport department is losing revenue worth lakhs of rupees.
Accidents have happened many times due to dangerous vehicles
On one hand, these dangerous vehicles are causing loss to the revenue by throwing dust in the eyes of the transport department. On the other hand, many times major accidents have also happened due to these vehicles. In which many people have even lost their lives. These vehicles are being driven without any standards, putting people’s lives at risk. But the responsible officers are sitting with their eyes closed. Many passengers lost their lives in a bus accident on Yamuna Expressway in Agra. Still, vehicles running illegally are running rampant.
