Agra News: CNG prices increased by 79 paise in the city, new price implemented from 6 am today

People driving CNG vehicles in Agra will now have to loosen their pockets a little more. The prices of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) in Agra have been increased by a few paise from 1st December i.e. today. CNG gas has been increased by about 79 paise, which came into effect from 6:00 am today. Apart from Agra, this increase has also been made in Lucknow and Unnao in the state. Let us tell you that this is not the first case of increase in the price of CNG. Even before this, CNG prices have increased many times. In such a situation, CNG has become very expensive. In the last three to four years, CNG prices have increased by almost two and a half times. Till now the price of CNG in Agra was Rs 93.96 per kg, after increasing by 79 paise the price will now become Rs 94.75 per kg.

CNG prices were reduced in April

The price of CNG in Faizabad and Sultanpur is already Rs 94.85 per kg. Vinay Bhardwaj, media coordinator of CNG supplier company Green Gas Limited, said that these new prices have been implemented on CNG from 6:00 am today. According to the information received, the prices of CNG were increased in December last year. In December, the price had gone up to Rs 98.96 per kg and in April this year, CNG prices were reduced by Rs 5 per kg. After this the price became Rs 93.96 per kg. Thousands of people are present there in Agra for domestic and commercial purposes. In such a situation, the burden of expenses on vehicle owners will also increase due to increase in the price of CNG. There are around 10,000 CNG loader vehicles in Agra and around 7,000 tempo vehicles. The number of domestic and commercial cars combined is around 15,000. 3000 mini buses are running on the roads of Agra. In such a situation, about 90,000 kg of CNG is consumed daily in Agra.
