Agra/Mainpuri. A luxury bus loaded with passengers suddenly caught fire while moving on the road on Agra Lucknow Expressway under Mainpuri police station Karhal area. As soon as the fire broke out, the bus driver showed wisdom and stopped the bus and took out the passengers. Due to which a major accident was averted. Police and fire brigade vehicles reached the spot after receiving information about the incident and brought the fire under control after a lot of effort. The bus was completely burnt due to the fire. A luxury double decker bus Nirvana was going to Varanasi with passengers from Rajasthan near Milestone 95 located on the Agra Lucknow Expressway passing through the Karhal police station area. As soon as the bus reached milestone 95, the bus suddenly caught fire. Due to which there was chaos among the passengers sitting in the bus. And the ride started screaming. The reason being told is that there was a short circuit somewhere in the bus due to which the fire broke out. As soon as the bus caught fire, the passengers started screaming. In such a situation, bus driver Ramkesh Yadav immediately stopped the bus. As soon as the bus stopped, all the passengers got out of the bus. The fire in the bus gradually took a serious form and the entire bus was destroyed in the fire.
Passengers’ luggage burnt in bus due to stampede
As soon as information about the incident was received, the CO, Tehsildar and UPID employees reached the spot. The fire brigade vehicle was also called to the spot. After a lot of effort, the fire brigade controlled the fire. It is being told that the bus was completely damaged due to fire. Due to the stampede that occurred after the fire, some passengers lost their luggage in the bus and some passengers also got slightly injured.
