Agra. Six people died in a road accident at Gurudwara Guru Ke Tal in Agra on Saturday. Even after this accident, highway roadways buses are standing at the cut and loading passengers. The bus comes to the middle of the road for the ride. Passengers are also seen crossing the road again. Any major accident can happen to them at any time. When you go towards Rambagh flyover from Water Works intersection. So as soon as the flyover starts, you will find 4 to 5 roadways buses parked on the roadside. These roadways buses serve the purpose of ferrying passengers. And in such a situation, there is a huge crowd of passengers here. Due to the bus, the vehicles coming from behind do not get the way and there is a daily traffic jam here.
Roadways campaign also failed
The Roadways Department had imposed restrictions on the number of passengers by stopping buses on the road. But despite the instructions from the officials of the Roadways Department, the government buses are stopping near Rambagh flyover and Water Works flyover and either boarding or deboarding the passengers. In such a situation, when government buses stop at Rambagh flyover, the vehicles coming from behind are blocked. And there is a jam situation on Jawahar Bridge for a long time.
Instructions for action yet police do not take action
A large number of passengers reach near Rambagh flyover and water works flyover to board these buses. In such a situation, many passengers have been injured due to vehicles leaving the road. While many riders are also seen crossing the highway. In such a situation, there is always a possibility of a major vehicle accident. ACP Traffic Areeb Ahmed says that there is no parking for buses at Rambagh and Water Works flyover. If the route is being blocked by stopping the buses, then instructions have been given to the concerned policemen. Strict action will be taken.
