Agra: Girl scorched due to fire in cylinder, fire brigade team found control after hard work

Agra: A gas cylinder caught fire while making tea at 7:00 am in C Block of Trans Yamuna Colony. Because of which the 17-year-old girl got scorched. When the relatives tried to save him, he also got lightly burnt. After this the incident was informed to the police. In such a situation, the fire brigade of the fire department also reached the spot and after about half an hour’s effort, the fire was brought under control.

Rajesh Kumar lives on rent with his family in C 755 under Trans Yamuna outpost of Etmaduddaula police station area. This house belongs to Ajit, son of Hariram and Rajesh lives on the first floor of the house. On Friday morning, the next day of Janmashtami, at around 7:00 am, his 17-year-old daughter Aarti went to the kitchen of the house to make tea. As soon as Aarti turned on the gas and lit the lighter, suddenly a cylinder kept nearby caught fire. Due to the fire, one of Aarti’s hands got burnt and her face was saved from getting burnt. Due to burning in the fire, Aarti suddenly started screaming.

After this, the family members present in the room next to the kitchen ran like a kitchen. Seeing the fire burning in the kitchen and Aarti shouting, other family members also started crying. Aarti’s father tried to extinguish the fire in the cylinder by putting cloth and rate but when he failed, he somehow took Aarti out of the kitchen. During this, due to the threat of fire on his face, his eyelids and eyebrows got burnt. After this all the family members came out of the house.

Due to the fire on the first floor of the house, people living below also got scared and took out all the gas cylinders present in their house. Hearing the sound of screams, the people around also reached the spot. After this, the information of the incident was given to the regional police. In such a situation, Trans Yamuna Chowki police and 112 helpline police reached the spot and the fire department was informed about the fire.

Shortly after the incident, the fire department’s vehicle also reached the spot and after about half an hour’s effort, the fire was brought under control. At the same time, Ramdas Jurail, a fire personnel posted in the fire department, pulled the cylinder kept in the kitchen outside. But suddenly the cylinder caught fire again. Because of which both the hands of Ramdas got scorched by the fire. At the same time, due to the fire in the kitchen, all the goods have been burnt to ashes.
