A fire broke out in flat number 702 at around 4 am on Monday. Its flames started reaching flat number 802 as well. Rahul Bhatnagar informed Rajiv Saxena about this. After this all the family members came out.

It is being told that the fire started spreading so fast in the apartment that it took a formidable form in no time. People came out of their homes and started trying to extinguish the fire. When the fire could not be controlled by them, they informed the police. After this the police reached the spot and the fire brigade was called.

As soon as the information was received, two vehicles of the fire brigade reached the spot and the fire brigade personnel started extinguishing the fire. During this, the condition of two firefighters, Somdutt and Ramkesh, in-charge of Sanjay Place Fire Station, worsened due to smoke filling the apartment. He was immediately admitted to the hospital with the help of other personnel. Later, after hard work, now the fire could be controlled.

According to Chief Fire Officer Devendra Kumar Singh, the fire broke out due to a short circuit in the outdoor unit of flat number 702, which also reached the flat above. There has been a lot of damage due to the fire, which is being investigated. At the same time, the firefighters admitted to the hospital were sent home after first aid. The case is being investigated.
