Agra: A candidate and his coach who were taking the exam through the device during the CoD exam in UP’s Agra have been arrested. After which he got the device. After which both him and his friend were arrested by the intelligence and handed over to the Sadar police. According to the information received, the written examination of tradesman and fireman was to be held in COD on Sunday in Agra. About 1700 candidates were appearing in the examination. The team of Army Intelligence Lucknow was keeping a close watch on conducting the exam. Meanwhile, the team got information that a candidate had brought a device to cheat in the exam. After this, Intelligence informed the Sadar police station. When the police and intelligence reached the examination center to check, they found some heavy object in the collar of a candidate’s shirt. When the team opened the collar of his shirt, a device was found in it. This device was connected to a Bluetooth earphone and the earphone similar to the button was placed in the ear of the candidate.
Candidate is a resident of Haryana
After getting the device, the team caught the candidate and started questioning him. In which the candidate told that his name is Naveen Niwasi Jind Haryana. While there he informed that his coach is present in a hotel in Tajganj. From where he is telling him the solutions to the exam questions. The SIM was installed in the device of the examinee, through this both the people were establishing contact with each other. The candidate used to read the questions in the examination center and the coach sitting in the hotel was telling the answers to those questions.
Police recovered phone and laptop from hotel
The police took the name of the coach sitting in the hotel and the address of the hotel from the accused candidate. After which the police reached the hotel. From where he arrested Jogendra Singh, a resident of Hisar, Haryana. Police have recovered phones and laptops from it. Both of them are being interrogated and a case has also been registered against them in Sadar police station.
