The rains along with Purvaiya wind in Uttara Nakshatra have provided a lot of relief to people as well as animals and people from the humid heat. Amidst two consecutive days of rain, there has been 28% less rainfall across the state than required for farming. 938.6 mm rainfall was required across the state. So far only 671.4 mm rainfall has occurred. Except Purnia, other divisions have received less rainfall than the state average. Bhagalpur division has received two percent more rainfall. All the six districts of Patna division including Patna, Nalanda, Bhojpur, Buxar, Rohtas and Kaimur have received 36% less rainfall. In this, there has been 46% less rainfall in Bhojpur and 43% less rainfall in Patna. The districts of Magadh division including Gaya, Jehanabad, Arwal, Nawada and Aurangabad have received a total of 39% less rainfall. In Magadha division, Arwal has received the least rainfall of 41%. All three districts of Saran division together have received 40% less rainfall. Here in Saran district there has been 41% less rainfall. Muzaffarpur, East Champaran, West Champaran, Sitamarhi, Shivhar, Vaishali of Tirhut division together have received 34% less rainfall. In this, Sitamarhi has received 51% less rainfall. Darbhanga, Madhubani and Samastipur of Darbhanga division have received 27% less rainfall. Begusarai, Munger, Sheikhpura, Lakhisarai, Jamui and Khagaria of Munger division together have received a total of 23% less rainfall. Saharsa, Supaul and Madhepura of Kosi division have received 29% less rainfall.

When will Hathiya Nakshatra ascend?

Hathiya Nakshatra will ascend on 28th September. Heavy rain is also expected in Hathiya Nakshatra. It was told by the Meteorological Department that between September 25 and 27, the sky will be light cloudy in Bhagalpur and surrounding districts. There is a possibility of light rain between 25th and 26th September. Alert regarding rain is also issued in Kosi-Seemanchal region. Bihar Agricultural University, Sabour, Rural Agricultural Meteorological Service, Nodal Officer, Dr. Sunil Kumar said that there is a possibility of easterly wind during this period. The average speed of wind can be 8 to 14 kilometers per hour. The temperature will be normal. Farmers are advised to stop irrigation of crops during this period. Do not do any kind of spraying at this time.
