Earlier on October 3, the petitioner had told the court that the Bihar government had made the caste-based census report public. In such a situation, this matter should be heard as soon as possible. After this appeal of the petitioner, the Supreme Court had fixed the date of October 6 for hearing the case. According to the petitioner, the Bihar government had earlier said not to publish the data related to the survey, but published it on October 2. This has been opposed. There will be a hearing on this today. It is known that the number of all castes has been revealed in the report of Bihar Caste Survey. The participation of Extremely Backward Class in the state is 36.0148% and that of Backward Class is 27.1286%. After the release of the data, politics has heated up across the country.
