In the last hearing, the bench of Justice Sanjeev Khanna and SVN Bhatti had given the direction. He had ordered that the case would not be removed from the cause list for Friday. The reason for this was that the state government had released caste-based survey data on October 2. On the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, the Bihar government had released the much-awaited caste-based survey report.
After the data became public, the matter reached the Supreme Court
The matter related to caste survey has now reached the Supreme Court. The data of caste survey was made public by the government. After this the petitioners have reached the Supreme Court. The hearing of this case was held on Tuesday and the next date has been given for Friday i.e. today. At the same time, today everyone’s eyes are on the decision of the Supreme Court. Actually, the petitioners in this case have opposed the caste survey in Bihar.
Politics heated up across the country
Earlier on October 3, the petitioner had told the court that the Bihar government had made the caste-based census report public. In such a situation, this matter should be heard as soon as possible. After this appeal of the petitioner, the Supreme Court had fixed the date of October 6 for hearing the case. According to the petitioner, the Bihar government had earlier said not to publish the data related to the survey, but published it on October 2. This has been opposed. There will be a hearing on this today. It is known that the number of all castes has been revealed in the report of Bihar Caste Survey. The participation of Extremely Backward Class in the state is 36.0148% and that of Backward Class is 27.1286%. After the release of the data, politics has heated up across the country.
