Ranchi: After the return of autonomy of St. Xavier’s College, now two colleges of Ranchi University are also waiting for it. Letters related to the autonomy of these two colleges have been sent to UGC. But Ranchi University has not received any reply yet. On the other hand, after St. University Registrar Dr. Mukund Chandra Mehta said that a letter has been sent to UGC regarding this.
By getting autonomy the session will be held on time:
The autonomous status of Marwari College ended in 2021 and the autonomous status of Ranchi Women’s College ended in 2022. After which the responsibility of academic operation of these two colleges came into the hands of Ranchi University. After this, the UG and PG sessions of both the colleges were delayed by more than six months. At the same time, if both the colleges get autonomy, then they will also be able to conduct the sessions on time and conduct the examinations as per their convenience.
