Bareilly: It has started raining once again in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh since Saturday morning. Due to sudden heavy rain the electricity supply of the city came to a standstill. Due to which there was no water supply from the Municipal Corporation. But, due to rain the temperature has decreased by 4 degrees Celsius. According to the Meteorological Department website, rain is expected till 24 and 25 September. After heavy rains in the city, people’s houses were filled with dirty water. Along with this, rivers have also overflowed. However, due to continuous rains in September, the rivers are already filled to the brim with water.

The weather was clear in Bareilly on Friday night. Along with this there was also heat. But, it started raining heavily from around 6 am on Saturday morning. The temperature has come down due to rain, but the lights of the city have gone out. Electricity supply has come to a standstill in many areas of the city and rural areas including Bareilly’s Subhashnagar, Madhinath, Badaun Road, Jagriti Nagar of Rampur Road, Anand Vihar, Karmachari Nagar, Vidholia, Raza Colony, Harungala, Bankhana, Faridapur, Bakarganj, Jagatpur.

Electricity consumers are very upset due to this. He made calls to the local power sub-station and officials to get the power supply fixed, but it was reported that no one was answering his phone. It is being told that due to lack of electricity supply, there is no water supply in the morning in many areas.

The heat had increased due to the temperature in Bareilly city. The maximum temperature here was 32 degrees Celsius, and the minimum temperature was 28 degrees Celsius, which after the rain came down to 27 degrees Celsius, and the minimum temperature was 24 degrees Celsius. According to the Meteorological Department, this temperature is expected to come down further. Rain is expected till 24th and 25th September. Along with dark clouds, winds will also blow.

Houses filled with water, roads closed

After the heavy rains that started on Saturday morning, all the houses in Jagatpur, Hajiyapur, Madhinath and Badaun Road of the city were filled with dirty water. This caused a lot of trouble to the people. Secured household items. Along with this, they were busy removing the water that had entered the house. Along with this, the roads have also been waterlogged. Due to this it has become difficult for people to come out. People have complained to the Municipal Corporation. There is waterlogging at many places due to non-cleaning of the city’s drains before the start of the rainy season.

It is raining heavily in Bareilly. It has rained 7 mm in the last 4 hours. Due to this there is waterlogging on the roads. Recently, there was 97 mm rainfall in Bareilly in 5 days i.e. 122 hours.
