Regarding Meta’s ongoing efforts regarding Artificial General Intelligence (AGI), Mark Zuckerberg told ‘The Verge’ in an interview, we have come to the idea that to create the products we want to create, we need general intelligence. AI companies including Elon Musk’s XAI, OpenAI and others are struggling to attract programmers and thinkers to develop generative AI models, according to an AFP report. Citing The Information, the report said Google offers stock compensation to its researchers to protect them from poaching, while OpenAI offers multi-million dollar packages to its employees. Additionally, the report states that these employees want to work in companies that are committed to the idea of creating human-level AI.
