Adipurush Box Office Collection Day 5: Prabhas’ Adipurush, directed by Om Raut, released in theaters on June 16 and had a great opening weekend. However, after the weekend, there was a tremendous decline in the film’s collection. This is because many people objected to the VFX and dialogues of the film. Many even demanded a ban on the film. Now the fifth day collection of Adipurush has come out.

On its first Tuesday, the film earned a mere Rs 10 crore in pan India, while its share in Hindi is said to be in the range of Rs 5-6 crore. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, Adipurush earned Rs 10.80 crore in all languages. Its Hindi occupancy was around 11.16 percent. On Tuesday, T-Series claimed that the film has earned Rs 375 crore worldwide. The film has collected up to Rs 247.90 crore in five days.

Adipurush’s Worldwide Collection

The worldwide figures of the film were also less. After grossing Rs 140 crore on the first day globally, film industry tracker Manobala Vijayabalan reported that Adipurush earned Rs 17.93 crore on Tuesday. The poor collection of less than Rs 120 crore on Hindi net has sealed the fate of the film. Adipurush is reportedly made in a budget of Rs 500 crore. However, till now the film has not crossed the figure of 400 crores.

Controversy over Adipurush

Adipurush is a mythological story based on Valmiki’s Ramayana. Written and directed by Om Raut, the film stars Prabhas as Raghav, Saif Ali Khan as Lankesh and Kriti Sanon as Janki. Sunny Singh and Devdutt Nag play supporting roles in the film. There have been demands for a ban against the film, where several organizations have claimed that the film has hurt the sentiments of Hindus.
