Adani Group will invest Rs 50,000 crore on setting up data center in Maharashtra

Adani Group: New Delhi, Adani Group will invest Rs 50,000 crore in the next 10 years to set up a gigawatt capacity data center in Maharashtra. The group’s flagship company Adani Enterprises Limited and the Maharashtra government recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to set up a one gigawatt capacity data centre. The company said in a statement that this MoU was signed in the presence of Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani during the ongoing annual meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos. The company further said, “This data center will be set up in prime locations like Mumbai or Navi Mumbai and Pune. It will be powered by renewable energy which will enhance the green energy infrastructure in Maharashtra and provide direct and indirect employment to 20,000 people.”
