Abu Dhabi’s Hindu temple is no less than Ram temple in grandeur, PM Modi is going to inaugurate it, know special things

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is leaving for UAE from today on a two-day state visit. Along with other programs, PM Modi will inaugurate the newly constructed grand Hindu temple in Abu Dhabi. This is the largest Hindu temple ever built abroad. Grand preparations have been made in UAE to welcome PM Modi. During his UAE tour, PM Modi will inaugurate the BAPS Hindu Temple tomorrow i.e. on 14th February. At the same time, today i.e. on Tuesday, PM Modi will address the Indian expatriates at the Zayed Sports City Stadium in Abu Dhabi. PM Modi’s program has been named Ahlan Modi i.e. Namaskar Modi. At the same time, due to bad weather, there has been a slight change in the timing of Prime Minister Modi’s program.

PM Modi is going to leave for UAE in some time. Grand preparations have been made to welcome PM Modi in UAE. However, the program may be disrupted due to bad weather. Actually, there was heavy rain in UAE last night. The rain caused waterlogging along with traffic jams due to which it was decided to shorten the ‘Alahan Modi’ program. At the same time, before addressing the Hindu immigrants in Abu Dhabi today, PM Modi shared a post on social media X. PM Modi wrote that we are very proud of our overseas Indians and their efforts to deepen India’s engagement with the world. I look forward to joining the Indian expatriates in the UAE at the Ahlan Modi event this evening! Be sure to participate in this memorable occasion.

Abu Dhabi’s temple is spread over 27 acres

In 2017, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan gifted 27 acres of land for the construction of the temple. PM Modi had laid its foundation stone on 11 February 2018. In 2019, this temple also won the title of Mechanical Projects of the Year. After this, people became convinced of the grandeur of this temple and started waiting for its completion. Now this temple is ready and PM Modi is inaugurating it tomorrow i.e. on Wednesday. Spread over 27 acres of land, this temple has very delicate, grand and magnificent carvings. The temple is constructed of pink sandstone and white marble. Which has been imported from Rajasthan. More than Rs 700 crore has been spent in its construction. The temple has been constructed under the leadership of Bochasanwasi Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha (BAPS).

BAPS Hindu Temple has been constructed on 27 acres of land. It is 108 feet high. It has 12 domes built in the shape of a pyramid. The temple has 7 pinnacles and 410 pillars. The temple will remain the same for 1000 years. There are 40,000 cubic meters of marble in the temple. Whereas, 180 thousand cubic meters of sandstone has been used. There are 18 lakh bricks in it. For security reasons, 100 sensors have been installed in the temple. Instruments are installed in the foundation of the temple to closely monitor seismic activities. More than 350 sensors have been installed to monitor the weather.

Ayodhya will look like Ram temple

The design of BAPS Hindu Temple is inspired by Vedic architecture. There is Abhishek Mandapam at its bottom. Like Ram temple, iron and steel have not been used in this temple. The fitting of huge marble stones has been done using interlocking method. It has been carved on the stories of Shiva Purana and Bhagwat Purana. A depiction of the lives of Swaminarayan, Venkateswara and Ayyappa has been presented. The grand domes of Swami Narayan Hindu Temple are being called the Dome of Harmony. This dome represents earth, water, fire, air and space. There is a waterfall here, which symbolizes the source of Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati.

The idols of Swaminarayan, Akshar-Purushottam, Ram-Sita, Lakshman, Hanuman, Shiva-Parvati, Ganesha, Kartikeya, Radha-Krishna, Padmavati-Venkateswara, Jagannath and Ayyappa have been kept in the BAPS Hindu temple. Different stories of Ramayana are carved on the walls of the temple. In which the scenes of events like the birth of Lord Ram, Sita Swayamvar, Ram Van Gaman, burning of Lanka, Ram-Ravan war and Bharat-Milap have been beautifully carved. Beautiful scenes of elephants are also carved in the temple, which are symbols of Indian culture. On one side there are camels, which is showing Arabic culture.
