Comparing the arrest of Congress Punjab unit MLA Sukhpal Singh Khaira and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP Sanjay Singh, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Sambit Patra on Thursday Arvind Kejriwal Accused the leading party of adopting ‘double standards’. Addressing reporters here, Patra claimed that all the people involved in the excise policy case in Delhi will be caught one by one. He asked, ‘Khaira has been arrested in a drug related case while Sanjay Singh has been arrested in a liquor scam. Both are allegedly involved in similar cases. However, AAP has adopted a different policy for its MPs. Isn’t this double standards?’

He claimed that the documents seized from Singh were likely to point towards some big AAP leader. AAP’s Odisha unit convenor Nishikant Mahapatra rejected Sambit Patra’s allegations and claimed that the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and the Enforcement Directorate (ED) have no evidence against the party leaders.
