In a personal dispute near Simri High School, a young man from the neighborhood strangled a middle-aged man to death. After slitting the throat with a sharp weapon, the accused stood there for some time. After this he himself went to the police station and surrendered himself before the police. The police have arrested the accused. It is being told that a dispute was going on for some days between Mohd Naseem (55) and Mohd Tauqib alias Chand (19) of Simri village of Simri police station area. On Tuesday late evening, in the garden near Simri High School, Tauqib alias Chand, Mohd. Naseem was killed by slitting his throat with a sharp weapon.
After that he reached the police station. Confessing his crime, he handed himself over to the police. It is said that both Naseem and Tauqib are neighbours. Naseem used to support his family by driving autos around the village. Simri police station incharge Pooja Kumari said that on Tuesday late evening at 7 pm, Mohd Rakib’s son Tauqib came to the police station. Told that he had killed a person by attacking him on the neck with a sharp weapon.
Police along with armed forces were sent to the spot to verify the incident. That one person was struggling. There were wound marks on his neck. He was immediately sent to the hospital.
