Madhuban (Punjabi): Villagers are surprised to see the well-like shape of the Budhi Gandak river located in Nanhkar village of Rupni Panchayat of the block due to erosion due to decrease in water level. The women and children of the village saw it first. He had gone to bring soil for household work. Seeing the shape of the well while cutting soil, informed the village. The shaped brick is also of a special type. The length of a brick is about two feet and width is about 4 inches. Only a part of it is visible from the river side. The remaining part is still buried inside the soil.

Villagers say that this is a historical place. It may be associated with the Gupta or Maurya period. Its authenticity will be clear only after archaeological survey. Shyambabu Yadav, husband of Mukhiya Shivdulari Devi, told that no one from his village had a house here. This place is inside the river. This is truly an amazing creation. An object like an earthen pot is seen inside the well-like shape. The type of brick in the well is special. The Chief has demanded an investigation from the administration.
