A moving car became a ball of fire due to a truck collision, four people from Haridwar returning from Noida were burnt alive, know how the accident happened

LakhanO: A major accident took place on the Ambala-Dehradun National Highway in Saharanpur’s Rampur Maniharan area on Tuesday. In this horrific accident on the highway, the truck hit the car. Due to this the moving car became a ball of fire. Four people including two women were sitting in the car. All four people were burnt alive. Due to the fire in the car, there was chaos among the passers-by on the national highway. Even before the people could think of rescue, the entire car was destroyed. Police Station Rampur Maniharan reached the spot and sent the dead bodies for postmortem. The police team is probing the cause of the fire in the car.

Truck hit the car from behind near Chunaiti gate

According to media reports, Umesh Goyal (70), Sunita Goyal (65), Amresh Jindal (55) and 50-year-old Geeta Jindal, residents of Jwalapur town in Haridwar district of Uttarakhand, were returning to Haridwar by car. All were returning from Noida. When the car reached Chunaiti Gate in Rampur Maniharan area, the truck hit it from behind. As soon as the collision took place, the car started burning like a ball of fire. A passer-by informed the police.

Reasons for the incident will be investigated: SP City

On the information of the passer-by, police station Rampur Maniharan reached the spot. The fire department team also reached the spot with the fire engine. An attempt was made to extinguish the fire in the car but all the occupants of the car were badly burnt. Police took out the dead bodies with the help of fire brigade personnel. All four bodies have been sent for postmortem. City Superintendent of Police Abhimanyu Manglik Bhari reached the spot. Abhimanyu Manglik told that prima facie it is believed to be an accident due to collision. The reasons for the incident will be investigated.
