On Sunday night, unknown criminals shot dead a 40-year-old farmer in Pande Karma village of Mali police station area of Navinagar block of Aurangabad. As soon as information about this was received, the villagers reached the spot. The farmer was considered alive and taken to the hospital. Where the doctors declared him dead. The deceased has been identified as Kamlesh Pandey. At present the reason for the incident is not clear. The police is investigating the matter.
Was sitting on the platform, then shot
During the post-mortem at Sadar Hospital, family members told that Kamlesh Pandey used to do farming work in the village itself. On Sunday night, he was sitting on the platform of the Shiva temple near the school towards the west of his village. During this time, unknown criminals shot him in the head and killed him.
The villagers took the farmer to the hospital thinking he was alive.
After the incident, Kamlesh Pandey was lying dead near the platform. When a person passing on the same route saw the dead body of Kamlesh Pandey, he raised an alarm. Hearing the noise, villagers and family members arrived. After this, considering Kamlesh Pandey to be alive, he was taken to the hospital. There, the doctors declared him dead. As soon as the family heard the news of the death, they hugged the dead body and screamed.

On the information of the villagers, the police of Mali police station reached the spot and started investigating the matter. After the incident, the police took possession of the body and completed the post-mortem process. During the post-mortem, the deceased’s brother Akhilesh Pandey told that Kamlesh had no enmity with anyone in the village. Who committed the murder and why is like a puzzle.
mourning spread in the family
Kamlesh has two children, a son and a daughter. Elder son Ishant Kumar (20 years) lives and studies in Patna. Daughter Richa Pandey (18 years) stays at home and looks after the household chores along with her studies. After the incident, wife Sanju Pandey and other family members are in bad condition and there is mourning in the same village. The wife of the deceased has appealed to the police administration for justice.
What did the police station chief say?
Mali police station incharge Subodh Kumar Mandal said that on receiving information about the firing, the police reached the spot and investigated. Two shell casings have been recovered from the spot. After post-mortem, the body was handed over to the family for last rites. At present the police is investigating to arrest the criminals.
