30 injured in fire in bus going from West Bengal to Odisha
At least 30 people sustained burn injuries when a luxury bus going to Paradip in Odisha caught fire in West Bengal’s Paschim Medinipur district on Friday night. Regarding the accident, a police officer said that this incident happened when the bus left from Babughat here at around 5 pm and reached near Madhabpur area at around 10 pm. This AC bus was running slowly. At least 30 passengers on board the bus tried to get out by breaking the windows. Some passengers fell into a ditch on the roadside. The injured have been admitted to a nearby hospital for treatment.
