Meanwhile, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has announced that in view of the increasing levels of pollution, all government and private primary schools in Delhi will remain closed for the next two days. At the same time, Delhi Municipal Corporation (MCD) has issued a separate order stating that classes in its schools will not be conducted for the next two days. MCD said that as per the order of the Air Quality Management Commission, it has been decided that classes will be conducted through online medium on November 3 and 4 in all MCD and MCD-aided schools in the National Capital Region and surrounding areas. However, schools will remain open for teachers and staff.
