Muzaffarpur An 80-year-old man was burnt alive under suspicious circumstances on Tuesday morning in Bada Jagannath of Ahiyapur in the district. He has been identified as K Jai Narayan Mishra. It is said that he was alone in the house. Granddaughter Komal had reached home from Delhi in the morning.
Death due to burning of old man alive
When he opened the room and found his dead body, he informed his family. The relatives of the elderly live in Delhi. He lived alone in Bada Jagannath. On receiving information, police reached the spot. SHO Rohan Kumar said that mosquito repellent incense sticks were found near the dead body. FSL team has been called. The dead body has been sent for post-mortem. The matter is being investigated.

Here, during a fire incident in Soti Bhediyahi of Kanti block, a one and a half year old child was burnt alive to death. On receiving the information, the fire brigade team reached the spot and controlled the fire. The deceased was identified as Neha Kumari, daughter of Akhilesh Mallik. She had come to her maternal grandfather’s house. She was originally a resident of Supana village of Saraiya.
