BPSC Cut Off: BPSC released the cut off marks of PT of 69th Combined Competitive Examination along with the result late on Friday night. Compared to the cut off marks of 68th PT, the cut off marks of this PT are almost stable but there has been a jump of 11 marks in the cut off marks of CDPO and DSP. The cut off marks in unreserved category was 91 in 68th PT. There has been a very slight increase of 0.67 percent in 69th.
68th of 69th BPSC PT Exam
In the 69th BPSC PT exam, the cut off for unreserved women category was only 84 marks both the times. Whereas for CDPO and DSP in unreserved category the cut off marks have gone up to 102.67 and in unreserved category women it has gone up to 99.33 and 91.67 respectively. A big growth is also visible in EWS and SC categories. However, the cut off marks for Financial Administrative Officer and equivalent posts have dropped to 85.67 in unreserved category and only 80 in unreserved women category.
Cut off marks did not fall
In negative marking in 68th PT, 1/4 marks were deducted for wrong answer, whereas in integrated 69th PT, 1/3 marks were deducted. In view of this, it was expected that the cut off would go down this year but it did not happen. A major reason for this was that in the 68th exam, due to the presence of e-option, there were five options for one question, whereas in the 69th integrated exam, due to the abolition of e-option, there were only four options for one question. Due to this, if the answer was given on the basis of guess, the probability of the answer being correct increased in the integrated 69th PT.
