XISS Ranchi 62nd Convocation Ceremony: The 62nd convocation of XISS Ranchi will start today i.e. on May 6 at 4 pm. PGDM degrees will be distributed to 253 students of batch 2021-2023. Manish Sharma, Chairman, Panasonic Life Solutions India and South Asia will be the chief guest. 22 top ranker students will be honored in the convocation ceremony. These include 11 gold, seven silver and four bronze medals.
Along with this, a cash prize of Rs 1,67,000 will be given to five students and Rs 7.2 lakh to 24 students under institutional scholarship. Fr. Michael van den Bogaart SJ Memorial Scholarship to meritorious students of SC-ST category, Fr. Michael Albert Windy SJ Memorial Award to meritorious students and Fr. Louis Franken SJ Memorial Scholarship Award to overall performers of all categories.
This year the Fr. Michael van den Bogart SJ Memorial Award cum Distinguished Alumni Award for the session 2005-07 will be given to Soumya Mukherjee, Alumni cum Director Asia Pacific Leader, Global Transfer Pricing Center, Deloitte Haskins & Sells LLP. Apart from this, 34 professors and personnel who have served the institute for more than 15 years will be honoured.
