469 km road will be built in Jharkhand, ADB will cooperate

Ranchi: Work on seven big road projects will be carried out in Jharkhand with the help of Asian Development Bank (ADB). Under this, 469 km of road is to be constructed. The construction of these roads will cost around Rs 2612 crore. The state government has prepared its proposal. Now, after arranging funds from ADB, action will be taken towards its construction. Till now the state road has been constructed under ADB One and Two. A total of 311 km of road was constructed in ADB Forest.

In this, a road was built from Govindpur to Sahibganj. Rs 1368 crore was spent on this. Under ADB II, the work of Dumka to Hansdiha, Pachambha-Jamua Road, Govindpur-Tundi-Giridih and Khunti Tamar Road was done. A total of 176 km of road work has been done. Now preparations are on to start ADB Three.

These roads will be built in ADB Three

Tantnagar to Bharabhariya-Kumardungi-Andhari-Manjhgaon road (60 km) in Chaibasa district at a cost of Rs 300 crore.

40 km from Guhiyajori in Dumka to Hansdiha via Ramgarh for Rs 200 crore.

100 km road from Medininagar to Bagra Mod via Panki-Hardipur in Medininagar and Ranchi districts for about Rs 500 crore.

Four lane construction work of 47 km from Angada to Silli Muri in Ranchi district at a cost of about Rs 500 crore.

42 km road from Chama Mod in Ranchi and Latehar district to Lapra-Murpa-Balumath via McCluskieganj for about Rs 210 crore.

Construction of about 118 km road from Jamtara to Barmasia via Nirsa, Sindri, Chandankyari in Jamtara, Dhanbad and Bokaro districts for Rs 592 crore.

62 km road from Dumka and Deoghar Nonihat to Basukinath, Haripur, Keerabani, Palajori Bagdaha turn for Rs 310 crore.
