46 thousand poor families of Bihar will get employment, shed will be given for goat, dairy and poultry farming

The exercise to connect 46 thousand very poor families of Bihar with employment has been started. For this, a total of 45926 poor families have been selected from across the state on behalf of Jeevika and their list has been handed over to MNREGA. A work plan has also been prepared by MNREGA to connect these families with employment.

Shed will be given for dairy and poultry

In all 38 districts of the state, sheds for goat rearing, dairy and poultry will be constructed and given to these beneficiaries. So that, they can get employment in goat, poultry and dairy by staying in the village itself. 16250 goat sheds, 1708 dairy and 106 hen sheds will be constructed and given to these families. Maximum 3565 families have been selected in Gaya and 97 families have been selected in Kishanganj.

Benefits already being given to 2432

The list submitted by Jeevika to MNREGA was sent to the districts. It has been told on behalf of all the 38 districts that out of the list submitted by Jeevika, 2432 families are already being given the benefits of the schemes.
