45 students of Bihar will go to Tamil Nadu in the second phase of Yuva Sangam, register here

Patna. The second phase of Yuva Sangam has started under Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat. In this, 45 students of the state will go to Tamil Nadu. At the same time, 45 students from Tamil Nadu will come to Bihar. IIT, Patna has been made the nodal institute for Yuva Sangam. On Wednesday, IIT Patna’s Associate Dean Students Welfare Prof Smriti Singh told that IIT Patna and NIT Trichy have been linked together for Yuva Sangam. These are the coordinating institutions for both the states. To participate in this program, youth between 18 and 30 years can register on the portal till April 9. 45 students will be selected from all over Bihar and they will be sent to Tamil Nadu.

Will be face to face with tourism, tradition, progress and mutual contact

NIT, Trichy in Tamil Nadu will expose these students to tourism, tradition, progress, technology and interaction. The youth visiting there will be able to connect with each other under five broad areas. The youth coming back will have to make blogs and videos. It will have to be uploaded on the website of AICTE. The memoirs of the students will be made public. Online registration for the second phase Exposure tour of one thousand youths from 23 states and union territories will be organized in April-May.

Those who have never gone out of Bihar will get priority

Prof. Smriti said that till now 216 people have got the registration done from Bihar. All the districts will be represented in the selection. Along with this, attention will also be paid to gender equality. There will also be balance of students of all streams. Along with technical and regular degree, students with sports will also be included in this. Preference will be given to those who have never gone out of Bihar. Along with this, the skills of the students will also be seen. On the basis of that they will be selected.

Students coming from Tamil Nadu will be given tour

Prof. Om Prakash said that after the selection, a plan will be made to go from May 7 to 9. The plan to return will be on May 15-16. One officer will also visit 10 students. Students will be taken on tour to Bodh Gaya, Nalanda, Rajgir, Vaishali, Buxar, Sasaram, Darbhanga, Valmiki Nagar. Activities will also be organized along with this. Together, these students will be introduced to the Chief Minister or the Governor. Prof. Naveen Nischal, Sanjay Kumar, Tulsi Kumar, Public Relations Officer Kripa Shankar along with other people were present on the occasion.
