Aurangabad. Police have foiled a major conspiracy of Naxalites in Aurangabad, Bihar. Cobra battalion has once again foiled the conspiracy of Naxalites to disturb the peace of the district. Cobra 205 battalion has recovered two pressure IEDs from Pachrukhiya forest of Madanpur police station area. The weight of the recovered IED bomb was 2 to 3 kg. Which has been defused. The Naxalites had planted this pressure IED underground with the aim of causing damage to the security forces. Which was defused by the bomb disposal squad on the spot itself.

According to the information received, a search operation was being conducted in the forested areas of Chhakarbandha by the security forces under the leadership of Cobra 205 Deputy Commandant Amit Kumar Singh on Thursday. In the same sequence, security forces found two pressure IEDs in the forest near Pachrukhiya. Security personnel cordoned off the area and recovered the pressure IED and defused it on the spot. In such a situation, if the conspiracy of Naxalites had succeeded, the security forces could have suffered huge losses.

Big success for police

After defusing the IED, security forces launched an intensive raid in the forests. Earlier this forest used to be a stronghold of Naxalites. In recent times, due to the anti-Naxal campaign launched by the security forces, the Naxalites have had to leave this area. In the last two years, the back of Naxalites has almost broken. Due to the continuous action of CRPF, their activities are being curbed day by day. The recovery of the IED before the explosion is considered a big success for the police.
