Lucknow. Big news is coming out from Faridabad in UP. Where cyber thugs have cheated crores from 250 people in many states in the name of getting CNG pumps. A young man working in a private company has been cheated in Faribad. The young man was cheated in the name of getting a CNG pump dealership. In this case, the team of Cyber Police Station Ballabhgarh has arrested four accused from Patna and Ahmedabad. The fraudsters asked the victim to do paperwork to get a CNG pump and extorted Rs 13.62 lakh. Faridabad police has sent the accused to jail.
In the whole matter, the police registered a case on 31 May. Police recovered laptop, computer, 7 fake ID cards, 3 mobiles, 4 sims, register and Rs 3.50 lakh from the accused. Till now the accused have cheated crores from more than 250 people of UP, Haryana, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Delhi. According to DCP Cybercrime Ballabhgarh Amit Yashvardhan, the accused Abhishek is originally from Sheikhpura in Bihar. The second accused Abhishek Kumar is a resident of Nawada in Bihar and the third accused Bunty Kumar is a resident of Vidyapura in Bihar. The fourth fraudster Vivek Thakur is a resident of Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
Used to do fraud by creating fake website
ACP Cyber Abhimanyu Goyat said that the accused had cheated Vishal, a resident of Ballabhgarh Sector-2, of Rs 13.62 lakh. In the name of getting a private CNG pump dealership, three fake websites were made, on which the customer would fill the application form and his e-mail, mobile number and other information would come to the accused. Using the information, the accused used to call the customer and get the money transferred to the accounts by sending fake documents and in the name of different services.
