210 bottles of liquor recovered, bike seized

Kunauli. Joint patrolling team of SSB 45th battalion border post Kunauli and Bihar Police seized 210 bottles of Nepali liquor. SSB 45th Battalion Commandant Gaurav Singh said that information was received through sources that contraband goods were going to be smuggled from Nepal to India from the area of ​​border pillar number 222/1. After the information, a special patrolling team was formed along with Kunauli police station to arrest the smugglers. Under the leadership of Sauni Sonam Dawa, the patrolling team of 04 other personnel and 02 Bihar Police personnel left for the identified place. The patrolling team started doing duty with vigilance at the designated place. After some time, the patrol team noticed that a person was entering India from Nepal Division on a bike carrying some goods in a sack. As soon as the person saw the patrolling team, he got nervous and started trying to run away. But in his haste, the tire of his bike got stuck in the sand and the person left the bike and luggage and fled towards Nepal Division. Thereafter the patrol team searched the items kept in the sack. During the search, 210 bottles of Nepali liquor Dilwale were seized. After necessary paperwork, the seized liquor and bike were handed over to Kunauli police station.
