Google Remove 17 Loan Apps From Play Store : Google, one of the world’s top companies in the technology sector, has removed 17 loan giving apps from its Play Store. It is being told that these apps were frauding the users. Spy malware has been found in them. A research report by cyber security firm ESET revealed that many instant loan apps that fraud users are targeting Android users.

18 apps were identified in the cyber security firm’s report. Of these, Google has removed 17 apps, while the developers of one app have changed their policy as per Google’s norms. For this reason it was not removed from the Play Store. Before Google’s action, these apps had been downloaded 1.20 crore times. These apps are now cheating people by sending text messages through third party sources like social media platforms and SMS. These apps are operated in India including Pakistan, Colombia, Peru, Philippines, Egypt, Kenya, Nigeria, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, and Mexico.
