16 districts of UP will get ICU facility, patients suffering from serious diseases will get relief from wandering from door to door

Lucknow : In Uttar Pradesh, patients suffering from serious illness in many areas will not have to wander for ICU (Intensive Care Unit) beds. Now ICU facility will be available in his district. For this, the state government will start ICU facility in 16 districts. On Saturday, Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak gave instructions to the departmental officers in this regard.

He has asked to start ICU facility soon. At present, ICU facility is available in 21 hospitals of the state. In such a situation, serious patients have to travel a long way for treatment. In order to provide better treatment to the patients, it has been decided to start ICU facility in the hospitals.

ICU will have 213 beds

Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak said that government hospitals in 16 more districts will have ICU facilities. It will have 213 beds, after which ICU facility will be provided in 37 hospitals. He told that instructions have been given to the higher officials to operate the ICU as soon as possible. Expert and trained staff will be deployed.

Staff and paramedical staff will be trained from time to time. So that there is no inconvenience in providing treatment to serious patients. Specialist and paramedical staff should also be deployed under the National Health Mission. Resources should be mobilized from the budget of the Patient Welfare Committee. Lack of budget will not come in the way of establishing ICU.

Now emergency of government hospitals will get 48 hours free treatment

At the same time, now in the emergency of government hospitals and medical institutions, patients will get free treatment for the first 48 hours. Under the continuous Sanjeevani service, earlier there was a preparation to start it in the emergency of government as well as private hospitals. But, now this will not happen. In the first phase, it will be started in government hospitals only. The Medical Education Department will soon make its presentation before Chief Minister Yogi. In an accident or any emergency, the first 48 hours are very important for the patient.
