Dhanbad Municipal Corporation is giving 15 percent discount on online payment of holding tax. This offer has been implemented by the Municipal Corporation from May 4. Apart from holding tax, the facility of depositing water user charge and trade license fee online has also been started. The State Urban Development Agency, Urban Development and Housing Department has made provision for this exemption with certain conditions. Municipal Commissioner Satyendra Kumar has appealed to the common citizens to avail the exemption by paying tax through online.

According to the municipal officer, online payment can be done in seven steps. The first step is to login to suda.jharkhand.gov.in. In the second step, click on the payment option for property tax, water user charge and trade license. In the third step, click on the option of Dhanbad Municipal Corporation. In the fourth step, fill the ward number and holding number. In the fifth step, click on the fee for which you want to pay. In the sixth step, click on the check box, go to the option of the fee to be paid and click on payment. In the seventh step, the payment details (credit card, debit card, net banking) have to be filled. After this, click on the tax payment option.

Illegal hoarding of many establishments of bank turn, fined

The enforcement team of the Municipal Corporation launched a campaign in Bank Mod on Thursday. Describing hoardings of more than half a dozen jewelery establishments as illegal, action was taken. According to the corporation official, the city style hoarding of Bank Mod was found on the drain. Ten thousand rupees fine was imposed on this. Garbage was thrown on the road by the auto link, so a fine of one thousand was imposed. Encroachment of Satyendra store was found on the road, on which a fine of five thousand was imposed. Garbage was found in front of Jai Hind store, one thousand fine was imposed. Apart from this, a fine of five thousand rupees each was collected from Shyam Jewellers, Radha-Krishna Jewellers, Sona-Chandi Jewellers, Alankar Jewellers, Chetan Ornaments for illegal hoarding.

Five thousand rupees fine was collected from Siddhi Enterprises against encroachment, five thousand rupees fine was collected from Santosh Optical for illegal hoarding. Encroached shops in front of Shri Ram Plaza were also removed. The executive officer Mohd. Anish was doing it. City Manager Chandrashekhar Singh, Food Inspector Anil Kumar, Tax Collector Raju Mahato, Junior Engineer Deepak Pandit, Junior Engineer Sameer Suman etc were present in the campaign.
