In this case, the police on Thursday arrested 15 people including 3 government employees and sent them to jail. These accused include two ADOs, a clerk and 12 middlemen. On Wednesday evening, the police took into custody the table in-charge of the mass marriage scheme of the Social Welfare Department. The police knocked again on Thursday and took away many documents related to the scheme. District Social Welfare Officer Deepak Srivastava said that whatever documents are being asked for by the police for the investigation are being made available. As soon as the police arrived on the second day, there was restlessness among the employees of social welfare as well as other departments. In the evening the DM and SP revealed the entire matter. In the investigation conducted so far, 15 people including three officers and employees have been arrested. However, investigation is still going on. A case was registered against a total of nine people including an ADO at Maniyar police station in connection with the fraud that took place in a mass marriage two days ago.
